| If anyone out there can help me out I would appreciate it!!
I've been desperately trying to light my gas fireplace for the first time. There are instructions to turn dial to pilot position then depress fully. Next, it says to "depress the spark ignitor" but I'm not sure if that is the same dial as the pilot light dial. I've tried holding the pilot on/off dial and can smell the gas once I open the valve but no blue flame. And I can't seem to find any other button that would be the spark ignitor. Any suggestions? Thank you, |

| There is a button you push to activate the igniter. Is this a new house to you? Who knows---maybe the button is missing and you don't recognize it. The button should be red, in color. You could do an internet search of the brand and model number of this fireplace and see if you can find some info. |

| If you cannot find the sparker(it will most likely look like the ones on gas grills) you can also light the pilot with a match. 1) turn dial to pilot |
