| Does anyone have the Eiklor Gas Logs (www.eiklorflames.com).
I would like to know how happy you are with them. I have read a lot about vented gas logs and how they can have problems with sooting up your house. I really do not want vent-free gas logs. I first considered a direct vent gas insert, but I think that it would overheat the room where my fireplace is. I live in eastern NC where we have moderate/mild winters. If anyone has the Eiklor gas logs, I am interested in hearing how you like them and how much soot they generate. Also any other brands that you may like or not like. Thanks! |

| I just put in a set of the 30" logs. They are beautiful but I am having sooting problems. Might be a burn efficiency problem. I am calling the installer (my local gas supplier) to see what they say. Even sooted around the stone on the breast of the fireplace. I don't know if other owners have experienced a general sooting problem with this brand or not. I would also be interested in hearing any experiences. |
