We just purchased a pellet stove today after wanting one for several years. I've tried to find information about how large the flame should be (I can't remember what the dealer told me). We have a Harman XXV. Right now, the flame does not seem much larger than the burnpot. Is that normal? I grew up with a woodstove, so I am used to a very large flame. The size of the flame in our Harman doesn't seem to be affected when I adjust the burn settings.
