I have only 4 ft width...can I do a fireplace? (pic)

Hi all...
I'll attach a pic of my family room. I only have 4 feet between the windows and really want a stone gas fireplace where the armoire is. Can this be done? Will it look terribly out of scale? Any specific product info I should check out?
