| Hello, we converted our fireplace to gas about 5 years ago and purchased a Peterson real-fyre gas log set. At the time we didn't get the remote. We now want to get it... we just went to the "Fireplace"place and we were quoted a price of 500.00. We were told that we should have gotten it at the original time. Is it possible to have it done now, but not at that price. I'd appreciate any advice...
Thank you. |

| $500 is a reasonable price. The existing pilot light, thermocouple and control valve will have to be removed and a new millivolt gas valve, pilot burner and pilot generator installed, along with a switch. |

| Thank you Seattlepioneer for taking the time to respond. I appreciate it. |

| Seattle pro is correct unless you already have the millivolt set-up, in this case you only need a remote. |
