| I am noticing noises when the gas fireplace insert expands/contracts when heating/cooling. Sounds like popping/someone banging a pot. Anyway NOT have it be so noisy? Is this normal? Our fireplace isn't finished yet so I am hoping once we have the surround/mantle done we will hear it much less.
Thank you so much! |

| Mine does the same thing but it's coming from the top of the insert. Not much you could do as far as I know, I'm kinda use to it now. My insert has ceramic brick surrounding the three sides but nothing on the top of it. Not sure if it would cause a fire if this was on the to as well. |

| I sometimes hear some noise after I shut my gas insert off. Mostly a popping kind of noise, but not very loud and not very many. Not as loud as banging a pot. Abbey |
