Gas fireplace pilot light surges

| The unit is 15 years old. The pilot light went out and wouldn't relight so I cleaned the area and removed spider webs etc. It re-light and seemed to work ok. Now the pilot surges every couple of seconds and is noisy like a heavy wind, then goes back to normal. The unit starts the same way it always has. Any ideas? Thanks |
