Hello all, i just bought a old antique wood burning cook stove and it seem i know very little about the actual stoves. My parents use a wood stove to heat some of their house and also to cook, so i'm no stranger to how they work i just seem to be at a loss at finding info about these stoves. Is their anyone out there that is a stove specialist that maybe able to tell me what brand or year my stove. my stove right now is in storage for the time being and all i have is a picture. thank
PJ

Did you buy this as a decoration or to use?

I'd be VERY cautious about firing it up and using it. It may have missing pieces, cracks or other problems and need to be vented into a chimney designed for a wood stove if you use it.

Frankly, as a heating device it a losewr --- modern wood stove are FAR more efficient at heating.

And as cooking equipment it is obsolete and hugely inefficient.

It's best use is almost certainly as a decoration, if you have use for that.
