I have never had a fireplace with a blower before and have a question. When I light the fire and turn on the blower, I can hear the blower motor running but no air comes out. Does the air insde the fireplace have to reach a certain temperture before warm air will be blown out or is my blower not working properly?

Is this a new or older installation? If new, tell your installer. Perhaps the fan is has packing blocking it. Sometimes the fan's squirrel cage comes loose from the motor shaft. This should be checked. Also, locate vent intake. Make sure it's not blocked.

I have a new wood burning fireplace and was looking for a blower for it. Someone told me that it is very effective. I was browsing through the internet and could not find one. Would you mind recommending one please.
