Mendota gas insert

Hi everyone,
I have a mendota gas insert. I know it will be some what blue at first until it heats up a bit and it does start getting more orange and yellow after a few minutes. The flame is to blue in my opinion. I know there is some adjustments needed when this is the case. Can anyone tell me what causes this and what I can do about it? Thx
