| We are just starting to build our house. The framing is done, the windows and doors are in but that's about it. So we've got several months left before we'll be able to move in. Originally we had told the builder that we wanted a small fireplace with a white wood mantel. Something classic and simple. However the great room which this will go in has 19 foot ceilings and I'm starting to think that our little fireplace is going to look out of place. Should we spend more money and go for a large stone fireplace that goes all the way up the wall? Or can the little fireplace look just as nice despite the size of the room? |

| To me, this is a no brainer. With that height, you have to go large, and it will look beautiful! Hopefully it's in your budget. |
