| I recently bought a house with a fireplace with rotary damper control. It looks just like this picture I found: http://www.rumford.com/store/images/Vestalcontrol.jpg
The problem is that the damper opens clockwise and closes counter-clockwise. This is exactly the opposite to any screw, you suppose to turn left to loosen and right to tighten. Is there anything wrong with the damper control? Thanks! |
