| I folks,
This is my first post, so howdy :). We bought an older home last March(built in 1930)and had a direct vent fire place installed, now we need to get it ready for Winter. We need to frame the surround and then build the mantle etc. We need some help on the framing aspect. We'd like to construct it in steel studs, however the framing plans that came with the Owners's Manual are not the best so we're looking for some ideas. Comments and suggestions are MOST welcome. Thanks Otter59 |
