| We do not have a chimney cap. We just started to use our fireplace(heatilater) last year (15 years old).
It seems fine like it is. Do we need a chimney cap? Could it possible mess our draft up? |

| Chimney caps keep animals and rain out, as well as keeps sparks from flying out of the chimney. I think you would be wise to get one. |
