moved into newer condo. gas fireplace has standing pilot. wall switch next to fireplace. wall switch does not turn on fireplace. i remove lower trim panel and there is an on/off switch. turn it to on, fireplace lights. hit wall switch when fireplace is lit, wall switch does nothing. not sure what wall switch is for. no remote to be found. no overhead lights or anything that switch may be connected too. this is sublet private condo with 3rd party middle man. not even sure if i can easily contact owner. 3rd party guy is a doorknob.
