| The prior owners used our fireplace often I guess. A few of the bricks around the glass set are blackened. We put an insert in at some point and I fear more discolored bricks behind it. Can these be cleaned? If so what should I try first? |

| Use spray foam bathroom cleaner. It works and is easy. They do this on HG TV shows all the time. |

| We used plain white vinegar and it came right off. |
