| Hello all:
We just purchased a ranch in the northeast area that was built in the mid 1950s. We would like to install the TV over the fireplace lintel but there are like vents or registers over the lintel; one to the right and one to the left right above the ends of the lintel. I am a little handy and I can block them so we can put the TV above the lintel but I don't want to be causing a fire hazard. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anything like that... The fire place is a gas fireplace. Any inputs or suggestions?
