I have researched the forum and can�t find a related post. I have a 6 yr. old gas fireplace and have not had any problem with it before. Today, while I was sitting at my desk, I heard a noise that sounded like a motor or a heater trying hard to start. I did not know where it was coming from. It lasted about 30 seconds and stopped. About 10 minutes later, it happened again, stopped and about five minutes later did it again. The last time I was able to sort of hear coming from around the fireplace. I eliminated the baseboard heater possibility. The fireplace was off so I lit it for a while and now the noise has not come back after over 45 minutes. What could have happened? Is it dangerous?
