Woodstove in basement, gas above on main level

We're building a new home and are planning for a finished basement with a wood stove. Directly above will be a gas fireplace. There is an alcove 24"x44" in the basement and 24x50" on the main level. It seems that the gas fireplace would use most of the chase. Where does the chimney for the woodstove fit around the gas fireplace?
