First of all, I have read all of the opinions/material on ventless fireplaces so I hope to not open up that can of worms. We bought a new home that has a ventless fireplace and I really do not want the expense of ripping it out to install a vented fireplace (inside wall and tricky roof/attic area) for the two or three times I may use it per year. I want to make the most of what I have.

My question is there a particular manufacturer of ventless log sets that is considered the best in terms of realism and safety?
