I am updating my ugly fireplace. There is currently no wooden mantle or surround - just tiles. I can remove and replace the tiles myself. And, although I'm somewhat handy with wood, I think it best I buy a kit, and just install and paint it myself. Any recommendations, online or otherwise, on the best places to buy them (unfinished wood or MDF) at reasonable prices? My measurements are not standard, so the typical Home Depot ones do not seem like they would work. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
