Used Hearthstone Heritage with catalytic converter

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a 15-20 year old Hearthstone Heritage stove, from when the company used catalytic converters. It's a huge savings from a new one, but I'm not sure if it's too out of date.
What do you think, do I go for the good deal and end up paying for a new cat or do I hold out for a newer model?
