We're in the market for a good woodburner. Anybody have good luck with one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and isn't constantly needing to be filled?

Our prob is we need a rear exhaust in lieu of a top exhaust. Kinda hard to find..thanks

RE: woodburner

You have many choices fro a rear mount chimney. But if you want an exit out the back instead of a chimney you'll probably have to go with a pellet stove. You can get power vents for those.
Now the big question. How much do you consider an "arm and a leg"? You'll possibly be in the $2,500 to $3,500 range depending on manufacturer and installation.
But I suggest you find out as much as you can as soon as possible. Because the stove dealers are starting to say the deliveries are now going into January.
You might want to take your time this year and research as much as you can and have it installed for NEXT winter.
