LG Pellets

I am unable to purchase the wood pellets I used last season, I just purchased 2 ton of LG Granules pellets. Has anyone used them? Do they burn hot? Is there lots of ash? i used to burn Country Boy White Lighting and cannot get them. I am concerned that LG is not going to measure up, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I also would like to know about LG Granules pellets. I just purchased a pellet stove and want to know what the best recommended pellets to use. thanks
