| Hi All,
I am considering a Harman "Advance" stove to put on my hearth that is limited by a depth of 20". this stove will fit on the hearth which is raised, as a fireplace insert from Harman is not available. I do have access to a Lennox "Winslow" insert but I think the BTU's are rated at 38,500 where the Advance is rated at 48000 BTU's my home is a new colonial roughly 3500 sq ft, very open with a cathedral ceiling in the room I plan to use and a balcony also in there looking into the family room and allowing what I believe to be natural convection to occur, as it opens up and then travels down the 2nd floor hallway. Does anyone have experience with either of these stoves and what can I realistically expect as far as performance.
