Majestic gas fireplace will not light

Majestic natural gas fireplace will not light after shutting down to re-tile the exterior. Pilot is not as strong as in the past. I cleaned the pilot without a change and attempt to adjust pilot did not work. When this first started I could get the fireplace to ignite by holding a gas lighter next to the thermopile. Now that will not work. Suggestions?

Clean off the thermopile with an Emory cloth, relight the pilot and I believe you are good to go.
