| I'm presently shopping for a direct vent gas fireplace and am finding it difficult to select one. Most of the reviews I am finding are 5+ years old. I've seen the Mendota Full View and DXV, Valor Ventana, White Mountain Hearth Tahoe Premium or Luxury, Lopi Hearthview 864, Heat n'Glo 6000 and slim line. Any recommendations, guidance, comments on repairs would be appreciated. |

| I am having the same experience. It seems that whichever dealer I go to, their products are the best! When I check reviews, I am no further ahead because they are so outdated. I have heard very good things about the Valor and Mendota. Have also heard good things about Kozy Heat, and marquis Capella. I feel your frustration! Anyone have any experience with any of these? |
