 o
outside combustion with pacific summit

Hi all! We are remodeling our entire main floor of a quad level (2700 ft) and are considering the pacific summit insert.

Thought that the deals would be good during the summer.....the dealer has quoted me at almost $4000 for their pacific model insert with install (the pacific is smaller than summit...$3200 just for the pacific unit ....without pipe or install) and I have found the larger summit unit much cheaper than the smaller pacific unit he is quoting me online ($2650 www.chimneysweeponline.com)....hoping to bring his price down.

I have noticed, though, that the pacific summit model has outside air combustion possibilities that the pacific model does not and need to know if this set up is not only desirable (worried about negative air) or possible. Our fireplace backs up to our garage and has a crawl underneath.

Any comments/ideas?
Thanks so much!
Tammy
