cleaning faux fieldstone

Hi all... I am purchasing a home with a woodburning fireplace. My question is, how do I clean the faux fieldstone that covers the wall area. House was built in 1971 so I don't know what brand was used. It might be something like z brick. It also does not appear to be sealed.

I just cleaned my fireplace stone which goes all the way
up to the ceiling with "Brick & Stone Cleaner" made by
Rutlano purchased at Menards. First I sprayed water on
the stone with a hand bottle sprayer, then sprayed on the
cleaner and brushed it in with a brush and lastly I rinsed
the area with clean water and a rag. Turned out great.
