Any required prep work for a fire place for flat screen later

Our house is currently under construction. We will have a wood burning fire place upstairs and a gas fire place down stairs.
Is there anything I should mention to the builder now for a fire place that we might add a flat screen later? Is it hard to add the TV over a stone and brick fire place years later.

I would defintely tell the builder your plans for a tv later. The brick/stone mason can install conduit within the brick, and the electrician can run an outlet to be placed above the mantel. Even before the tv, you may enjoy having an outlet there in case you want to put lamps on the mantel.
