Stone fireplace with brick floor?

I'm going to have old Chicago brick floors, and I'm trying to decide what material to use for my fire place(gas not wood burning). I really like the look of stacked stone, but I'm not sure if it will clash with the brick floors. If anyone has any pics of anything similar that would be great. Thanks
