Covering Up Chimney Flu

We are doing a kitchen renovation and have removed the woodstove that was in the kitchen - it was not useful, it worked so well, it was too hot to stay in the kitchen!

Anyway, the flue pipe went into a brick chimney that has two other flues, one for the main fireplace in the greatroom on the other side and one for a woodstove in the basement. We have plugged the hole where the stove pipe entered the brick chimney flue with a metal cap. A square section of the brick was open to the room (and framed with wood molding). We need to sheetrock the entire wall, because the brick is flush with the current sheetrock.

Are there any other things we need to do before we cover the bricks/capped flue with sheetrock?

thanks
