Gas log shut off valves

My client has converted 100yr+ ornate brick(1) marble (1)and tiled surrounds (2)fireplaces to gas logs. Each has a shut off in the basement but the home inspector indicated the shut off valve must be in the room of the fireplace. What is the least invasive and least costly way to address this? The gas line feeds are the yellow flexible lines.
