I would appreciate any feedback on the most realistic looking gas fireplace manufacture/model.
Heat production is secondary,any suggestions?

All the major manufacturers have good looking units. It all depends on what YOU consider "realistic".

And how much you want to spend.

Hop down to your local fireplace shop and look for yourself. Only you can decide.

you will find that the better the heater, the better they look. I say look at the Avalon products. they also make Lopi and fireplace xtrordinair. I like the Avalon Seattle Space Saver, or Winthrop as they offer a lower BTU alternative to a realistic looking Zero Clearance fireplace. Good luck!
