DV NG Linear/contemporary fireplace that doesn't break the bank

Does one exist? They are all impressively expensive and since we are using it for aesthetics, we aren't looking to pour a ton of money into it. Any suggestions for a linear or a simple contemporary looking fireplace that doesn't break the bank?

I have mainly been looking at the midrange brands here and they are around $5k-$6k for a two-sided linear - Monessen and HeatnGlo are the likely winners.

No idea on the quality of either and there are no dealers around here that stock them.
