We have been recommended Monessen fireplace by local fireplace guy. We are looking at BDV or HBDV series 36" fireplace in the basement that is used for entertaining.

How is quality of Monessen fireplaces?
Has anyone has experience with BDV or HBDV series?
Should we get a blower?
