We have a gas fireplace with a horizontal termination cap. We just had some vinyl fencing installed and one side of the fence is located about six inches or so from the side of the termination cap. I can't find any information in the owner's manual, so I was hoping someone here could advise me as to whether the heat from the cap will damage the fence and if I need to buy some type of shield to protect it. Thanks!
