| We currently have an older Earth Stove wood stove. We are looking at replacing it with a (more efficient)soapstone wood stove. Not quite ready to spend the money on a new one and have seen a couple used ones (one is 6 years old, one is 15). They both appear to be well taken care of but wonder what to look for or if they've made considerable changes to the newer ones that make them better. The 6 year old one is a Hearthstone Phoenix model, the older is the Hearthstone Mansfield (only used a couple times). We have an 1800 sq. ft. tri-level and like the Mansfield for that reason. Any advice or suggestions on these stoves? Thanks |
