Just had a new montigo Series L DV fireplace installed. Retailer did NOT tell me that film would be immediately forming on the glass door and that I should have a custom product to clean it. Took me 10 days to get back to the store to buy the product. Worse -- getting the door off and then back on is HORRIBLE. The mechanism is difficult to understand and extremely difficult to manipulate. Very hard to get the door off. Very hard to get it back on. I think I have bent the "buckle" out of shape. I am hoping that I am not releasing gas into my living room. The Montigo maintenance manual is poorly written and illustrated. At this moment, I am extremely unhappy with both Montigo and my retailer.
