Front glass seal leaking can I replace

Posted by bndfishing (My Page) on

I have an HTC Gas fireplace. We were getting head aches and called the gas company. They tested and found the seal for the glass front was leaking CO2. The seal was a orange seal that had become very brittle. Where can I find a new seal? If I can't find a new seal, can I use a high temp silicone?

You need to order replacement glass, which usually has a fiber gasket which wont detriorate in the future.

Contact the retailer where the fireplace was purchased or contact the manufacturer for a distributor who can order a replacement glass assembly for you
