Fireplace over the TV???

We are getting a new modern Fireplace and thinking about putting it high on the wall So we can then put a 55 inch TV below the fireplace(instead of above) that way we are not looking up at the TV but eye level- My family loves the idea but I'm worried that may look weird- Or maybe great- I need opinions??

I think that sounds cool. Especially since looking up at the tv is annoying. But will you be looking up at the fire? Then again, you'll probably be looking at tv more than you will be having a fire in the fireplace, so it makes more sense. Definitely a conversation piece!
