| We just bought a house with an old heatilator insert. It has glass doors and a blower. The husband wants to rip it out for aesthetic reasons. I want to keep it, so that I can enjoy a fire without worrying about all my heat going up the chimney. My question is--is it way better to leave it than to get rid? And has anyone had any luck painting (groovy brass trim could go) theirs? |
