Bosca wood pellet insert

I have to do something differently in my open concept floor plan, standard height ceilings...Oil this winter has of course depleted my savings....
I have had a recommendation for a Bosca wood pellet insert for my fireplace which is larger than smaller.
Natural gas isn't an optioin the this part of Maine.
Any comments on Bosca or recommendations for another brand.

Another fuel: Anthracite. If you're looking to save money and spend less time hassling with the appliance, look into either a hand-fired/hopper fed insert or stoker. Pellets are not the way to go.
