| I'm thinking of buying a Jotul f 400. I have never owned or used a wood stove that the wood loads sideways like a fireplace.
I keep thinking the wood would have a tendency to roll out at you when you open the door. Does anyone have this stove or one similar? any comments? tim |

| The only way to eliminate any possibility of a log rolling out when the door is opened, is to buy a top-loader like the Harman Oakwood or any of their woodstoves, since they are all top-loading. |
