fireplace goes out?

Fire place might work good for 2 days mabe more.then will not work in manual or remote. sometimes piolt light goes out after re lighting it may work fine. i have changed the batts cked with volt meter batts are good.my ? when the fireplace is in the manual position does the nine volt system still come into play.and dose that circut afect the piolt?thanks for any help
