Looking for DirectVent with hard to see Glass

Posted by Doggydoc (My Page) on

My wife hates the glass doors on direct vent fireplaces and wants the traditional look of a wood burning fireplace. I am looking for a taller direct vent fireplace with hard to see glass. (No glare, ceramic, etc) or possibly with no glass(not done from what I understand)to appease her with. Any ideas y'all. Thanks

All fireplace glass is basically the same, Robax is one. They have a slight yellow ting in them if one looks closely. There is not much of a choice i.e. no glare does not exist as far as my experience tells me. It is not standard glass. And you are correct all gas fireplaces have a glass front.
