Fireplace blower problem

My gas fp blower makes a vibrating noise and spins as if it wants to turn on even after my fireplace has been turned off for 30+ minutes. This is a Monessen direct vent unit. I know in my old vent free the blower use to stay on for a while after and shut down but this is different. Almost like its a malfunctioning issue. So I just unplug it after I shut down the fp. It's mounted in the rear of the firebox so kinda hard to get to.
Has anybody experienced this issue?
