Lennox-Canyon S310 wood stove smoke

I just purchased a Canyon S310 wood stove and went through the curing process. The stove has a fan attached to it. When the stove is hot the fan comes on and when it does you can smell smoke in the house and I don't think it should be like that. I don't see the smoke but I can smell it. Is this normal or is there a flaw. I don't have any other fans running like the range hood fan, furnace fan or washer fan. The smell is there although the draft is fully open. Please help.

You are burning wood, it will give off a smell. That doesn't necessarily mean there is a leak if you are concerned. It is considered the ambiance for some wood burning lovers.
