Tuckpointing

I just received an estimate to tuckpoint and repair the rock front on my house and chimney including materials, labor, and sealing. Not much has to be done to the chimney, but the rock on the front of the house is in need with a lot of the motor having to be cut out. The estimate is for $900 and includes cleaning the chimney. As I write this it sounds very reasonable. Am I crazy? Also I am a female and am leery! FYI I called the contractor.
