Help Q-Fire Long Island

I'm buying a house next week and i want to replace the fireplace. i would like the wood burning high effiect model from Q-fire and i was quoted 5500 for the 7100 EPA model and 1500 for install. i want to know if those prices are fair plus is anyone familar with the Woodbox in Commack NY....i heard mixed feelings on the store and installs and i can't find another place in Long Island.

Have you tried " The Fire Place Store" in seaford? ( Merrick Rd.) There is also a fire place store in Oceanside, I believe it is on Sunrise Hwy. Sorry I can't be of more help with pricing, but it is always good to check other stores and compare prices..The WoodBox has been around for a long time..so I guess they aren't 'that' bad.. call around and get more prices..

you can also try sleepy hollow in deer park. i am looking at a mendota and both the fireplace store and sleepy hollow have the same unit for the same price (within $100).
